The Nottinghamshire Fraud Partnership Charter was launched on Cyber Monday – setting out how a range of blue light services, local authorities, businesses and charities will collaborate to combat fraud.
From Sunday 10th December 2023 East Midlands Trains will be making some changes to the timetable.
Industrial action is being taken by members of the ASLEF union, representing train drivers, and will affect 16 train companies. This is being conducted in a new staggered approach, affecting different train operators on different days. Unfortunately, this will mean that customers could be impacted by a complicated period of reduced services, possible delays and disruption.
This year, NSDC are going the extra step to support businesses and to encourage visitors to visit the town as they are offering free weekend and Bank Holiday car parking at all pay and display car parks managed by NSDC this festive period.
NSDC are continuing to offer support to help residents and businesses affected by Storm Babet. Applications for the Government’s flood response framework are still being accepted, with around 200 applications received to date and over £73,500 already paid out.
