NSDC are continuing to offer support to help residents and businesses affected by Storm Babet. Applications for the Government’s flood response framework are still being accepted, with around 200 applications received to date and over £73,500 already paid out.
NSDC continue to offer free collection of bulky waste for households affected by the flooding. Unfortunately, due to changes in legislation, they will not be providing skips to properties, but residents can request collections by calling Customer Services on 01636 650 000 or emailing customerservices@newark-sherwooddc.gov.uk with details of the content of the waste so it can be correctly processed.
Support for businesses through the Government’s Business Recovery Grants and Business Rates Relief is also now available on their website.
