From Sunday 10th December 2023 East Midlands Trains will be making some changes to the timetable.

Our new timetable will see a number of improvements on the Regional routes, including four weekday services between Nottingham and Crewe reinstated, two new services introduced between Peterborough and Lincoln on a Saturday and the return of a weekday Liverpool Lime Street – Nottingham service. A small number of underutilised services will also be removed.

A summary of December 2023 timetable changes are below:

• Weekdays 0535 Worksop – Nottingham cancelled between Worksop – Mansfield Woodhouse
• Weekdays 2225 Nottingham – Worksop cancelled between Mansfield Woodhouse – Worksop
• Weekdays 2343 Worksop – Nottingham cancelled between Worksop and Mansfield Woodhouse

Strengthened Services

• Weekdays 0635 Nottingham – Liverpool Lime Street will be extended from 2-car Class 158 to 6-car Class 170
• Weekdays 0951 Liverpool Lime Street – Norwich will be extended from a 4-car Class 158 between Liverpool and Nottingham and a 2-car Class 158 between Nottingham and Norwich, to a 6-car Class 170 between Liverpool and Nottingham and a 3-car Class 170 between Nottingham and Norwich
• Weekdays 1548 Norwich – Liverpool Lime Street will be extended from a 2-car Class 158 between Norwich and Nottingham and a 4-car Class 158 between Nottingham and Liverpool, to a 3-car Class 170 between Norwich and Nottingham and a 6-car Class 170 between Nottingham and Liverpool
• Weekday 2138 Liverpool Lime Street – Nottingham will be extended from a 4-car Class 158, to a 6-car Class 170
