Changes to services

Sunday 24 December

Current Sunday service, with earlier finishes.

Monday 25 December & Tuesday 26 December

No services will operate.

Wednesday 27 December

Trains will start up later in the morning.

An amended timetable will be in place on the Intercity route, with longer journey times and earlier / later trains. Trains will not call at Market Harborough and rail replacement buses will run between Leicester, Corby, Wellingborough and Market Harborough all day.

Thursday 28 December – Saturday 30 December

A normal timetable is expected to run between Thursday 28 and Saturday 30 December

Sunday 31 December

Services will finish earlier.

Liverpool to Norwich trains will start/terminate at Sheffield on New Year’s Eve. Rail replacement buses will run between Sheffield and Stockport.

Monday 1 January

Trains will start up later in the morning.

Some late evening London to Corby trains will terminate at Kettering. Some trains will run earlier. Early morning Corby to London trains will start from Kettering. Connecting buses will run between Kettering and Corby.

From Tuesday 2 January

Normal service will operate.

From Tuesday 2 – Friday 5 January, as above, some late evening London to Corby trains will terminate at Kettering. Some trains will run earlier. Early morning Corby to London trains will start from Kettering. Connecting buses will run between Kettering and Corby.
