The Newark Sea Cadet unit is to open a Royal Marine Cadet detachment and is seeking new members and volunteers across all age groups.
Junior Cadets are aged 10-12 and Cadets aged 12-18, and both meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:45pm to 9:00pm at the TA Centre, Sherwood Drive, Newark, NG24 1QF.
Members take part in a variety of activities including watersports, and volunteers can be anyone who wants to work with young people – military or teaching experience is not necessary.
