We’ve had a few people asking if anything can be done to preserve the garage on the High Street now it is vacant. Reputedly it was moved from Waddington after World War 1 and has been here ever since. We contacted Newark & Sherwood District Council and they told us that as it’s within the Conservation Area any alteration to it would need planning permission.
